eHealth Works Best When Engagement Is High

SureWash is delighted to be part of the international eHealth community. Our portable hand-washing training units are based on gamification technology, and have already shown how much of an important role they play within a multi-modal solution for reducing infection rates.

The biggest challenge every eHealth vendor has is how to prolong engagement, so that it becomes common practice and second nature. We are no different. We work very closely with hospitals and healthcare centres to find new ways of increasing the usage of our devices.

Technology has to simplify and improve processes, which have often been seen as time-consuming or inefficient. We believe our solution does exactly that for training users the correct way to wash their hands.
There are many amazing solutions within the eHealth community, whether it is in the form of apps, wearables, websites or even medical equipment. The challenge is how to drive engagement from beyond a simple trial.

The many initiatives currently being promoted internationally around eHealth will really drive awareness of what is available and what can be achieved, but we as vendors must also continue coming up with more ways to encourage our customers to prolong their engagement. It is only when engagement is high, will we see truly profound results not only in infection prevention, but also across all aspects of healthcare.

We will be attending APIC from 7th-9th June on stand B#361, so why not come along and find out for yourself how SureWash is revolutionising hand-washing training.
